Capt Sid Little
Captain Sidney Little was born and raised in the prolific
fishing grounds of the Republic of Panama in Central America.
Captain Sid has always been out on a boat and a student of
fishing all of his life. In fact he was instrumental in the
design of the 21 foot fishing boat that his father built exclusively
to take them out in the Pacific Ocean while he was growing
up. He was fortunate enough to be invited upon the boats of
the very best fisherman of Panama, and from this gained lots
of inside knowledge pertaining to the mastery of fishing.
Captain Sid also spent three seasons working as Dock master
and Captain at the world famous “Tropic Star Fishing Lodge”
and The “Cebaco Bay Fishing Lodge” in the Republic of Panama.
He then relocated to the Pan Handle of Florida in 1999 and
has spent all of his spare time learning the local tricks
and habits of The Choctawhatchee Bay and The Gulf of Mexico.
Captain Sid is the Sole owner/operator of the “Lil’ Lucky
of Destin” charter fishing company. He operates out of and
is located in Baytowne Marina of the World famous “Sandestin
Golf and Beach Resort” of Destin, Florida. |
BOAT / INFO
What to bring:
Rain gear/windbreaker: Mornings can be cool and windy, especially
when on the water on the boat. It's generally a good idea to dress
in layers, including jeans, with the option to shed layers as the
day warms up. You also never know when a light shower could come
up.
Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses: The sun can be brutal, especially
on a cloudy day.
Soft/white soled shoes: Please wear only deck shoes or athletic
shoes with light color soles. Captain may ask that you remove hard
and/or dark soles.
Camera: Of course, you don't want to miss the photo ops!
Food/Drinks: Bring whatever you want to eat and drink in a bag.
No coolers necessary as the captain will ice your food and drinks
down when you board the boat.
For Sea-sickness: If you think anyone in your group may be prone
to seasickness and you are going into the Gulf, we recommend they
take one (1) Less-Drowsy Dramamine the night before the trip and
one (1) more before boarding the boat. Always eat a light breakfast.
Avoid alcohol the night before.
Smiling faces: We want you to have a GREAT time!
We provide all fishing equipment, bait, and licenses. There are
no restroom facilites on the Lil' Lucky; however, you are never
more than a few minutes from shore. |
